Keeping global members connected and engaged through Swapcard's customized platform
The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) is the premier association for the attractions industry. Founded in 1918, it represents supplier companies, consultants, and individual members from more than 100 countries.
Organizers initially formed a partnership with Swapcard to keep their membership virtually engaged at the start of the pandemic. The relationship continued to evolve when the IAAPA Expo returned as an in-person event in 2022 with a hybrid option. IAAPA provided their international attendees to join virtually and enjoy the educational content available during the expo and on demand.
Attendees enjoyed the numerous ways to engage with one another via the Swapcard app, while they easily navigated their way throughout the 11-mile long show floor with help of the intuitive interactive map.
