The Meetings Show is an annual exhibition for those working in the meetings, incentives, conference, and events industry based in the U.K.
Powered by Northstar Meetings Group, The Meetings Show celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2022 when it returned for two days of face-to-face networking and 20+ hours of valuable content.
In 2021, event organizers partnered with Swapcard to run the hybrid edition of The Meetings Show. When organizers desired a flexible event platform for 2022 that could deliver a successful live event with customized offerings for attendees, Swapcard continued to be the best option. Organizers leveraged the platform’s flexibility by launching a second event with a shared user experience between both and by building a community for students attending a sustainable events course.
The Swapcard team partnered with MapsPeople and worked closely to integrate their wayfinding software into the app, creating a frictionless user experience for visitors throughout the duration of the show. Swapcard also supported the event directly with an onsite support team so organizers could focus on the event itself and leave everything else to the experts.
