Marsha Flanagan
Senior Vice President of Events and Learning Experiences at IAEE
Marsha Flanagan, M.Ed. is currently the Senior VP of Events and Learning Experiences at the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, where she is responsible for all events and educational initiatives. Prior to joining PPAI, Flanagan was the Director of Content Strategy and Development at the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), where she was responsible for steering strategy and the development and delivery of all PPAI professional development and editorial offerings. She was named one of the 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry by Successful Meetings in 2017 and named to BizBash’s Inaugural Top 500 in the Events Industry in 2018 and 2019. In 2021, she was listed in Meetings Today as a 2021 Trendsetter. Flanagan is a 5th generation Texan, loves sports and the outdoors and spending time with family.
Elizabeth George
Senior Event Lead, Content & Programming at HIMSS
Elizabeth George is the Senior Event Lead, Content and Programming at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Previously she was the Manager/Customer & Audience Solutions at Informa Markets managing digital sponsorship inventory across twelve B2B annual trade events.As an advocate for the events and exhibitions industry, Elizabeth has held board positions with her local IAEE Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter and Women In Exhibitions Network and has participated in SISO. In April 2023, she was named one of the five UFI 2023 Next Generation Leadership Grant winners.Elizabeth holds a BA in Journalism-Public Relations and International Studies from Baylor University.
